HELLOOOOOOOOO?????????????? The picures on here i got from http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Call_of_Duty_Wiki if someone could tell me if there legal or not it would be great. User:Drjuki

I just got this game along with a huge collection of others with a custom PC a friend built for me, I'll see about screencapping it as soon as I finish Battlefield 2. Orca1 9904 20:46, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

STG-44/MP-44

It is not inaccurate that the STG-44 was called the MP-44 in COD, When designing the firearm Hitler was not interested in any more rifles but more interested in more submachineguns so the designers designated the firearm as the "MP-44" (Maschinenpistole in German) so that Hitler would approve of the project even though it was a intermediate rifle in reality though Hitler approved of it later on. --AdAstra2009 01:03, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Selecting from semi to full auto

I think this is the only Call of Duty game where you can actual select different fire with guns. Excalibur01 11:19, 13 May 2012 (CDT)

Then it became "full auto or nuthin" llike every one after it.-LaFarge

Note on the FG-42 section

It appears only in the earlier American levels and then is never seen again. - Actually it does reappear in the hands of at least German in the final level of the game. Small point but should be noted. StanTheMan (talk) 14:40, 28 November 2013 (EST)

Well, I've never seen it there and I've played through CoD plenty of times. Can you get a screenshot? Evil Tim (talk) 15:07, 28 November 2013 (EST)
I'd have to reinstall the game (its on my other computer) but as far as I'm aware, one of the snipers in a building near the start of the Berlin level uses one (it's off to the right, just before you reach the German tank you have to take out if I'm not mistaken). I might see about getting a screengrab of it, though it may not be anytime too soon, bah. Even so it's just a minor thing, the page looks great. StanTheMan (talk) 21:34, 28 November 2013 (EST)

I'll try to make this screenshot. Thank you for your good opinion about the appearance of the page. --MTOOO (talk) 04:07, 29 November 2013 (EST)

Think this also has a few things missing: hull MGs on the German tanks (MG34 Panzerlauf) and Russian ones (Degtyaryov DT), and I think there's some Russian field guns in there somewhere too. Evil Tim (talk) 05:28, 29 November 2013 (EST)
That's what they should be, but if I remember correctly, they sound and behave exactly like the games version of the MG42. So I think the devs just cut some corners there. Jimmoy (talk) 14:36, 29 November 2013 (EST)

If I remember correctly there was a 8,8cm Pak 43 in one of the expansions levels? Or was this in World at War? Btw fantastic work on the site!! -hchris

Tomorrow I will start work on the side to Games "World At War" :)--MTOOO (talk) 16:27, 29 November 2013 (EST)

Just one thing: if it doesn't make it too hard to play, could you change the in-game language to English? I mean, it's not like you really need the control hints anyway. I forget how difficult it is in CoD, if that means you'd have to reinstall it then don't worry about it. Evil Tim (talk) 16:36, 29 November 2013 (EST)

Edit War

Leave the screencaps be, there aren't that many, and they do show the weapon well. Also allow the grammar and formatting changes to go through. --Funkychinaman (talk) 20:01, 29 November 2013 (EST)

Okay--Mandolin (talk) 21:29, 29 November 2013 (EST)

Where are the other games???

Why aren't there pages for Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Call of Duty: Big Red One???

First off, sign your posts, press the little button with the blue pen icon right to the picture icon, secondly, nobody has made those pages yet, you can make them yourself if you really want em'--AnActualAK47 (talk) 06:11, 9 May 2016 (EDT)
Finest Hour and Big Red One were here at one time, but were deleted for being half-assed. --Funkychinaman (talk) 06:57, 9 May 2016 (EDT)

Sten

The left hand's position is slightly confusing, but it appears that the player holds the weapon from the mag-well, but not enough, seeming like he almost holds it from the magazine. Is the in-game position of the hand on the mag-well safe enough to fire the weapon without damaging the magazine, or should it have been grasped more from the right? (aside from the fact that it would be obviously better to hold it from the handguard or the assembly in front of the trigger guard) --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 06:44, 28 October 2016 (EDT)
