Unknown bullpup sniper rifle in the game, called "B41":

PTRD-41? --Funkychinaman 14:59, 9 August 2011 (CDT)
- This gun has a rare magazine well (rotated 45 degrees upward, like a M249 SAW's), holds 4 rounds, and has no scope despite being or at least looking like a sniper rifle. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 15:27, 9 August 2011 (CDT)
- With that one screenshot, I can say for 99% that what you think is a sniper rifle, is actually a German WWII anti-tank rifle; the PzB-41(t). Also, I'd say that the MP40 is actually a MP38, based on the ribbed design of the top receiver, MP40 has a smoother top. Also, and I hate to be picky, I think the name of this page should be be changed to 'ÜberSoldier' (with 'Ü' instead of 'U'). Über is German for superior. Still, thanks for a great page, --PeeWee055 15:02, 18 January 2012 (CST)
Anachronism vs. Anatopism
Anachronism (from the Greek: ana - "against" and chronos - "time") - something that is out of place for the time being.
Anatopism (from the Greek: ana - "against" and topos - "place") - something that is out of place for the location.
Since DShK was adopted by the Red Army in 1938 and certainly not used by the Kriegsmarine (German Navy during WW2), that would make its presence on German submarines anatopistic rather than anachronistic. --Masterius 12:54, 22 January 2012 (CST)
- Thanks, corrected it. --bozitojugg3rn4ut 06:10, 23 January 2012 (CST)
