Stalingrad Fyodor Bondarchuk . Set in November 1942, a group of Soviet soldiers take shelter in a damaged apartment building. As the German Army surrounds them, they resolve to protect this building and civilians who live in it at any cost. The cast includes Thomas Kretschmann , who also appeared in a 1993 film of the same name .
