Speed 2: Cruise Control
|
Speed 2: Cruise Control is the 1997 sequel to 1994's Speed. Sandra Bullock returns as Annie Porter, who finds herself in a new predicament when she and her new boyfriend Alex Shaw (Jason Patric) discover that the cruise ship they are on has been commandeered by a maniacal genius (Willem Dafoe). The film, which was a box office disappointment, was directed by original Speed director Jan de Bont.
The following weapons were used in the film Speed 2: Cruise Control:
Colt MK IV Series 70
Officer Alex Shaw (Jason Patric) is seen drawing what appears to be a Colt MK IV Series 70 pistol when confronting a suspect he was chasing at the film's beginning. Alex's pistol is fitted with a Surefire weaponlight and has adjustable sights.
Walther PPK/S
John Geiger (Willem Dafoe) pulls a Walther PPK/S with stainless steel finish when threatening Annie (Sandra Bullock).
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
LAPD SWAT officers are armed with the Heckler & Koch MP5A2s equipped with Surefire dedicated forend weaponlights during the film's opening chase.
M16A2
The M16A2 is briefly seen in the hands of an LAPD SWAT officer at the beginning of the film.
Remington 1100
On the cruise ship, Alex is seen arming himself with what appears to be a Remington 1100 shotgun, which was used for skeet shooting. Despite that the shotgun appears to be semi-automatic, the sound of a pump action is heard several times when Alex points the weapon.
Heckler & Koch P2A1 Flare Pistol
While riding on a water scooter, Annie (Sandra Bullock) finds a Heckler & Koch P2A1 Flare Pistol and fires it into the air as a signal for Alex.
