Sherlock Holmes is an American 1916 B&W silent movie directed by Arthur Berthelet and starring William Gillette as Sherlock Holmes and Edward Fielding as Dr. Watson. The movie is adapted from the 1899 stage play, which is in turn based on Arthur Conan Doyle stories "A Scandal in Bohemia", "The Final Problem", and "A Study in Scarlet".
The following weapons were used in the film Sherlock Holmes:
Iver Johnson Safety Automatic
In various scenes Sherlock Holmes (William Gillette), Dr. Watson (Edward Fielding), Prof. Moriarty (Ernest Maupain), and James Larrabee (Mario Majeroni) use top-break revolvers. At least two props are seen. Iver Johnson Safety Automatic fits screen guns well enough.
