Secret Agent (Podvig razvedchika , literally "The Scout's Exploit"; also known as Secret Mission and Secrets of Counter-Espionage ) is a Soviet 1947 B&W war drama directed by Boris Barnet . In 1943 Soviet intelligence officer Aleksey Fedotov (Pavel Kadochnikov ) operates in Nazi occupied town of Vinnytsa, impersonating German Heinrich Eckert. His task is to obtain the secret correspondence of General Kuhn.
Podvig razvedchika is known to originate the spy genre in Soviet cinema.
