Ray Stevenson (1964-2023) was an English actor who appeared in such films as 2008's Outpost, Big Game (2014) and The Book of Eli in addition to his role as Frank Castle, aka "The Punisher", in 2008's Punisher: War Zone. He also appeared in the MCU as the warrior Volstagg for several feature films in the Thor series. In addition, Stevenson had a starring role in the Disney+ series Ahsoka, as the Dark Jedi, Baylan Skoll. He passed away at the age of 58 on May 22, 2023, from undisclosed causes.
