Rabid Bus (Vzbesivshiysya avtobus)

Rabid Bus (original title Vzbesivshiysya avtobus) is a 1990 Soviet crime thriller directed by Georgi Natanson. The story is based on real events of December 1988 in a town of Ordzhonikidze when a group of four criminals kidnapped a school bus with thirty children and a teacher and ordered high ransom and a flight abroad USSR.

Makarov PM
Makarov PM pistols are service sidearms of Soviet militsia (police). Two PMs are given to kidnappers in exchange for several hostages; these pistols are seen in hands of the leader of the gang Pavel Melkoyatz (Igor Bochkin) and "Sedoy" (Sergei Maksachyov).
Shotguns
Sawed-off IZh-K Single Barreled Shotgun
A single barreled sawed-off shotgun is used by Pavel Melkoyatz (Igor Bochkin) during the kidnapping of the bus. The shape of the hammer spur and the groovs on the stock allows to identify the shotgun as IZh-K (also known as IZhK-1) in 16 Gauge.

AK-74s are seen in hands of OMON (Russian SWAT) troopers.
AKS-74
AK-74s are also seen in hands of OMON (Russian SWAT) troopers. Two AKS-74s are given to kidnappers in exchange for several hostages. During following events they several times switch to AKS-74Us and back again.
AKS-74U
Two AKS-74 in hands of kidnappers constantly turn to AKS-74Us and back again.

OMON snipers are armed with SVD sniper rifles.
