Pickup on South Street
'Pickup on South Street' is a Cold War film-noir written and directed by Samuel Fuller (Merrill's Marauders, The Big Red One, The Steel Helmet), based on a story by Dwight Taylor, staring Richard Widmark, Jean Peters, and Thelma Ritter. Pickpocket artist Skip McCoy picks the wrong pocket, landing him into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse between the FBI and communist agents.
