Pelagia and the White Bulldog (Pelagiya i bely buldog) is a Russian 2009 detective mini series directed by Yuriy Moroz and based on eponymous novel by Boris Akunin. The story takes place in Russia in late 19th century. The orthodox nun Pelagia (Polina Kutepova) investigates several crimes that takes place in the family of old and rich woman.

Smith & Wesson Model 3 (Denix M1869 Smith & Wesson)

Smith & Wesson Model 3 revolvers are used by several characters including Stepan Shiryaev (Sergei Ugryumov), Murad (Sergei Legostaev) and Chief of police Felix Lagrange (Andrey Mezhulis). The screen revolvers are non-firing replicas, manufactured by Spanish company Denix; the muzzle flashes are CGI generated.

Nagant M1895 Revolver

Nagant M1895 revolver is used by Vladimir Bubentsov (Timofey Tribuntsev) during the shootout in the forest. Policemen also carry Nagant revolvers. Chief of police Felix Lagrange (Andrey Mezhulis) uses Nagant during the shootout with Murad as a backup weapon. The screen Nagants are blank-firing Blef revolvers.
