Outpost in the Mountains Zastava v gorakh ) is a Soviet 1953 adventure movie directed by Konstantin Yudin and Vladimir Gerasimov. The story takes place on the mountainous Soviet-Iranian border. A Soviet border guard outpost under command of Sr. Lt. Lunin controls an anxious sector of the border. In Iranian territory, US intelligence agents, led by Col. Bridger and Maj. Morrow, plan to infiltrate a spy across the border. In order to draw off the border guards and weaken the security, Morrow hires local brigands to make a raid on Soviet territory.

Pistols Tokarev TT-33 Sr. Lt. Sergei Lunin (Vladlen Davydov ) carries a TT-33 in a holster. Maj. Morrow (Vladimir Belokurov ) uses a TT (possibly a substitution for the similar looking Colt Model 1903 ) during the night chase for Ismail-Beg.
