Night of the Sinners (a direct translation of the original title Noch greshnikov; another title Vysshayva istina bombista Alekseya (The Supreme Truth of the Bomb Thrower Aleksey)) is a 1991 Soviet two-part drama film directed by Vadim Kostromenko and based on the 1907 story "T'ma" ("Darkness") by Leonid Andreyev. Being pursued by police, revolutionary terrorist Aleksey finds a shelter in the brothel where he meets prostitute Lyubka. A single night shows the personal drama of both.

The following weapons were used in the film Night of the Sinners (Noch greshnikov):

Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action

A Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action revolver is Aleksey's (Ruslan Kakhrumanov) handgun. Lyubka (Lyudmila Shevel) holds Aleksey's revolver in the final scene. Pristav (head of police precinct) Gordey Ivanovich (Yuriy Sarantsev) holds same looking revolver during the arrest of Aleksey. Judging by the shape of the grip and the trigger guard, the revolver is a Spanish Eibar version of the Smith & Wesson, most likely a WWI British or Italian contract model.

Nagant M1895 (visually modified)

Police personnel use Nagant M1895 revolvers. These guns are very crudely visually modified by adding a box-like extension to the frame so they bear a very distant resemblance with Colt cap and ball revolvers (except for the absence of the loading lever).
