Murder Mystery is a 2019 comedy mystery movie directed by Kyle Newacheck and written by James Vanderbilt. It stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston as NYPD officer Nick Spitz and hairdresser Audrey Spitz, a married couple who gets caught up in the investigation of an elderly billionaire's murder during their trip to Europe.
The following weapons were used in the film Murder Mystery:
A nickel-plated Colt Single Action Army with pearl grips is frequently carried by Colonel Ulenga. He uses it early in the movie in an attempt to stop the murderer of Malcolm Quince after the lights go out, but fails to hit them. Towards the end of the movie, Nick Spitz takes the revolver from the Colonel's holster to shoot the discovered murderer who has taken his wife hostage.
Pistols
Remington 1866 Derringer
A golden, engraved Remington 1866 Derringer (actually a Denix non-firing replica) was used by Tobey Quince (David Walliams), Malcolm Quince's only son, to commit an apparent suicide the day after his father's murder.
Beretta Model 70
A Beretta Model 70 with a longer barrel is used by Colonel Ulenga's bodyguard Sergei (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) to hold the couple at gunpoint in his hotel room while he offers them some explanations and exposition.
Walther PPK/S
A Walther PPK/S is wielded by Suzi Nakamura (Shiori Kutsuna) and then taken by Nick, who tries to shoot a masked figure yards away and demonstrates laughably poor marksmanship for a police officer.
Beretta 85
A Beretta 85 of the "Cheetah" series is used by several characters throughout the movie. It is used by an unknown a assailant who attacks the couple of protagonists in a library, Grace Ballard and some police officers.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS with a suppressor and wooden grips is seen in the hands of the gunman who attacked the couple earlier in the hotel, during a recollection of events.
Glock 17
A Glock 17 is carried by Inspector de la Croix (Dany Boon) of the Interpol. During the climax of the movie, he is disarmed by Juan Carlo (Luis Gerardo Méndez) after trying to wrestle with him and is held hostage with his own gun.
