Monster (2004)

Monster (2004-2005) is a 74-episode anime series based on Naoki Urasawa's manga of the same name. The story follows Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a brilliant neurosurgeon who discovered that the young boy named Johan who he saved years ago has turned into a criminal mastermind responsible for a series of brutal murders. As he tries to track down Johan himself, he is also trying to evade the police, particularly an obsessive BKA inspector who believes Tenma is the true perpetrator. The story takes place across various parts of Germany and Czech Republic.

Walther PPK

Nina Fortner/Anna Liebert uses the Walther PPK as her main sidearm. BKA Inspector Heinrich Lunge carries two Walther PPKs (instead of the Walther P5 and PP in the manga), with one in an ankle holster as a backup weapon. All German police officers in the series are armed with Walther PPKs. Various other characters are also seen with Walther PPKs.

SIG-Sauer P228

Roberto uses a SIG-Sauer P228 as his main sidearm. He later gives a spare one to Eva Heinemann. Tenma comes into possession of Roberto's P228 and used it at the Munich University library. One is also seen lying on a table during Tenma's firearms training.

Mauser SR-93

Tenma purchases a Mauser SR-93 from the underground gun runner in an attempt to assassinate Johan. The gun runner states that the rifle failed the German Army selection (presumably the G22 trial) and it is chambered for .338 Lapua rounds. Roberto briefly acquired the rifle from Tenma but wasn't able to use it.
