Money Movers

Money Movers is a 1979 Australian heist story about an armor car robbery. An early effort by Australian filmmaker Bruce Beresforsd (Double Jeopardy , Breaker Morant). Released at the beginning of the Australian New Wave Film Era it was a box office disappointment. A rare Australian crime move from that time period with violence that was surprisingly intense and graphic. Also notable for being an early role for Australian actor Bryan Brown.

The Smith & Wesson Model 10 is used by numerous characters throughout the movie; armored car guards, gangsters and police.
Mauser C96 Broomhandle
Throughout the movie Dino (Terry Camilleri) ,one of the gangsters, uses a Mauser C96 "Broomhandle" with a suppressor.
Walther PP
One of the gangsters disguised as a armored car guard uses a silenced Walther PP during the climactic heist.
Sawn Off Double Barrel Shotgun
At the beginning of the movie there is another armored car robbery. One of the gangsters carries a cut down double barreled 12 gauge.
