Missing Among the Living (Propavshiye sredi zhivykh)
|
Missing Among the Living (Propavshiye sredi zhivykh) is a Soviet 1981 detective movie directed by Vladimir Fetin and based on the story by Sergei Vysotsky. A seasoned criminal Kashlev alias "Nyrok" lures a young inexperienced taxi driver Yevgeniy Khilkov into the crime sheme. Meanwile Ugolovny Rozysk (criminal police) detectives investigate the activities of "Nyrok"'s gang.
The following weapons were used in the film Missing Among the Living (Propavshiye sredi zhivykh):
Walther PP
A personal sidearm of Leningrad Ugolovny Rozysk detective Capt. Yuriy Belyanchikov (Aleksandr Demyanenko) is a Walther PP (hardly fitting handgun for Soviet Militsia). This pistol is also seen in hands of Belyanchikov on the original movie poster while the modern DVD cover oddly shows the image mirrored (see Trivia section). Criminal "Nyrok" (Pavel Kadochnikov) also holds a Walther PP that switches consistently to CZ 27 and Makarov PM due to continuity errors.
CZ 27
When "Nyrok" shifts his pistol from a side pocket of his overcoat into the inner, it is a CZ 27.
Makarov PM
When "Nyrok" again draws his pistol from the inner pocket, it is a Makarov PM.
