Lucky Luke Jean Dujardin as the title character. Being an adaptation of a comic book, the film does not take itself seriously, with exaggerated characters and scenarios, and even a talking horse. Despite being set in Utah, the film was shot in Argentina.

Shell casings Shell casings are seen piling up behind Jesse and Billy as they fire on some thugs. Jesse and Billy are using a Remington 1858 New Army and Remington 1866 Derringer, respectively, which don't eject shell casings while firing.
