Living Target (Zhivaja mishen) is a Soviet 1990 crime thriller directed by Mark Aizenberg. Militsia (police) undercover agent Maj. Goryunov (Aleksandr Fatyushin) investigates the activities of a crime gang and its connection with the corrupt chief of local militsia.

In one scene Yura's unnamed henchman (Anatoli Mishchenko) uses a suppressed sniper rifle. It is most likely a small caliber target rifle.

AKMS assault rifles are used by militsia and criminals. The guns have muzzle brakes removed and replaced with blank firing adapters (in firing scenes).

AKS-74U carbines are also used by militsia and criminals.
