Level 9
Level 9 was a television science fiction series that centered around a covert agency within the US government composed of federal agents and young hackers that use their skills to fight cyber crime. The series was co-created by noted crime novelist Michael Connelly (Bosch) and premiered in 2000 on the United Paramount Network. The show was supposed to run for 13 episodes, but was cancelled in 2001. The remaining unaired episodes premiered on SyFy in 2008.
The following weapons were used in the television series Level 9:
Browning Buckmark
The assassin Justin Malik (John Ventimiglia) in the Pilot episode, "Mail Call", used an integrally suppressed Browning Buckmark with Match sights.
Beretta 92FS
In the Pilot, Jerry Hooten (Romany Malco) carried a Beretta 92FS as his sidearm. Many LAPD officers and other characters on the show also used these.
Remington 870
A Remington 870 was used by a U.S. Marshal in the first episode, "Mail Call".
Glock 19
In the Pilot, Annie Price (Kate Hodge) carried a Glock 19 as her sidearm. Some police officers and FBI agents on the show also used the Glock 19, and a suppressed version was used by the assassin in the episode "Ten Little Hackers".
Smith & Wesson 6906
Tibbs (Michael Kelly) carried a Smith & Wesson 6906 as his sidearm, though only in the Pilot.
Walther P99
After "Mail Call", the entire Level 9 team switched weapons. Both Annie Price (Kate Hodge) and Joss Nakano (Susie Park) carried Walther P99s as their sidearms starting in the episode "DefCon". Some of the other FBI Agents on the show were also seen using them.
SIG-Sauer P226
Jack Wiley's (Max Martini's) sidearm was a SIG-Sauer P226. This gun was also carried by some FBI Agents and other characters on the show.
SIG-Sauer P225
A number of SIG-Sauer P225 pistols were used on the show by FBI Agents and many other characters. It appears that Hooten started carrying a P225 as his sidearm beginning with the episode "DefCon".
Smith & Wesson 5904/06
Tibbs' (Michael Kelly's) sidearm from "DefCon" onwards was a custom two-tone Smith & Wesson 5900-series pistol which had the blued frame of a 5904 and the stainless slide of a 5906. It's only seen clearly in the episode "Avatar".
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The casino robbers in the episode "DefCon" carried Heckler & Koch MP5A3s fitted Surefire fore-ends and tactical flashlights. These weapons were also used by SWAT teams on the show.
Mannlicher-Carcano M91/38
In the episode "Wetware", the sleeper assassin at the beginning of the episode used a Mannlicher-Carcano M91/38 Short Rifle with a scope to assassinate the Senator. Jack Wiley pointed out that this is the exact same gun that was used by Lee Harvey Oswald to shoot John F. Kennedy, and the episode later reveals that Oswald was part of the same program that the Level 9 team is investigating - which partially explains the similar choices of murder weapon.
Ruger KP89
In "It's Magic", Santoro Goff (Miguel Sandoval) carried a Ruger KP89, which he later used to commit suicide.
