The latter is one of two men up to receive control of the drug empire of the ill Javier Salazar, played by Andy Garcia. Pelon soon finds himself locked in a deadly struggle with the second heir to the throne, Diablo (Jordi Vilasuso). With the CIA, too, attempting to stop Pelon for their own reasons, Mark Shields sets out to complete his mission and come to terms with his past.
