Kissin' Cousins is 1964 American musical comedy directed by Gene Nelson and starring Elvis Presley in two roles: US Air Force officer Josh Morgan, and his look-alike cousin Jodie Tatum. Tatum's hillbilly family lives in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. The US government plans to lease the Tatums' land for constructing an ICBM base, and Capt. Robert Salbo gets the order to secure the lease within seven days. Facing resistance from the Tatum family, he requests Jodie's distant cousin, Air Force pilot 2nd Lt. Josh Morgan, be brought in for negotiations.
The following weapons were used in the film Kissin' Cousins:
Capt. Robert Salbo (Jack Albertson) and Master Sgt. William George Bailey (Tommy Farrell) carry M1911 pistols (the flat mainspring housings on the rear of the grip allow to differ them from later M1911A1s).
Rifles
M1 Garand
US Army soldiers belonging to Capt. Salbo's unit are armed with M1 Garand rifles.
Springfield Allin Conversion Model 1866 Trapdoor
The Tatum family use several Springfield 1861 rifled muskets converted into trapdoor breech-loading rifles, known as the Allin Conversion Model 1866 Trapdoor. These guns are seen in the hands of sisters Selena (Pamela Austin) and Azalea (Yvonne Craig) Tatum, their cousin Jodie (Elvis Presley), and Ma Tatum (Glenda Farrell).
Shotguns
Double Barreled Shotgun
Pappy Tatum (Arthur O'Connell) uses a Double Barreled Shotgun- quite befitting of a moonshining mountain man.
Ithaca 37
Azalea Tatum buys Jodie an Ithaca 37 from out of town.
Machine Guns
Browning M3
2nd Lt. Josh Morgan's North American F-86 Sabre fires its Browning M3 machine guns. It's hard to say if this an actual footage of real firing machine guns, or if acetylene-powered mockups are used, as is often seen with aircraft guns firing on screen.
Trivia

2nd Lt. Josh Morgan pilots a North American F-86 Sabre fighter aircraft (it is incorrectly referred to as an F-84 in the movie).

Various jet planes, cruise missiles, and ICBMs are seen in photos in a newspaper.
