John Heard

John Heard was an American character actor well known for his role as Peter McCallister, the father of Kevin McCallister in the 1990 film Home Alone and its sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. He also appeared in such films as Cutter's Way, The Package, The Pelican Brief and Assault on Wall Street in addition to his television role as Det. Vic Makasian in The Sopranos. He passed away on July 21, 2017, following a heart attack.
