Single Action Army The Stranger (Clint Eastwood ) carries a 7 1/2" Cavalry Single Action Army as his sidearm in the film. Many other characters carry 5 1/2" Artillery models, such as Stacey Bridges (Geoffrey Lewis ) and his gang. Mordecai (Billy Curtis ) buys himself a nickel plated Cavalry model once Stranger makes him the new Mayor of the town.

Gun Shop Pistol Case In the gun shop, there are several pistols seen in the glass presentation case. Unfortunately they are seen at an angle which makes single identification difficult. Most of them appear to be cap-and-ball Colt revolvers such as Colt Dragoons and Colt 1851 Navy revolvers, and some appear to be Single Action Army revolvers.
