Hart's War Colin Farrell as 1st Lt. Thomas Hart, a US Army lieutenant who is captured by German forces and sent to a POW camp, where he finds himself serving as defense lawyer to a "Red Tail " fighter pilot (Terrence Howard ) who is accused of murdering a fellow American POW. Bruce Willis co-stars as Col. William McNamara, the POW Army Colonel who presides over the trial. The film also features early film roles for Sam Worthington and Linus Roache .

Pistols Colt M1911A1 German Commandos (Christian Kahrmann and Jim Boeven ), disguised as M.P.s (Military Police), carry Colt M1911A1 .45 caliber pistols as they take 1st Lt. Thomas Hart (Colin Farrell ) prisoner. Capt. Robert M. Swann (Rocky Marshall ) is briefly seen with a Colt in his holster at the beginning of the movie.

William McNamara (Bruce Willis ) is seen assembling it and pointing it at Visser.
