Farewell, My Lovely

Farewell, My Lovely is the 1975 adaptation of Raymond Chandler's classic pulp thriller. Robert Mitchum stars as the cynical private eye Philip Marlowe, a role he would reprise three years later in The Big Sleep (1978).

Colt Official Police revolvers with half-moon front sights, wooden grips, and four-inch barrels are used throughout the film. Marlowe uses a nickel one taken from Cowboy (Burton Gilliam) during a confrontation in the brothel.

Jonnie (Sylvester Stallone) carries a Smith & Wesson Model M&P revolver.

A Beretta M1934 is shown in a desk drawer owned by Frances Amthor (Kate Murtagh), described by Marlowe as "L.A.'s infamous madam."
Star Model B
What appears to be a Star Model B is seen in the hands of a henchman at the motel and later carried by Nick (Joe Spinell).
