Eriq La Salle is an American actor well known to television audiences for his role as Dr. Peter Benton in the series ER. He also has appeared in such films as Logan, Coming to America, and Jacob's Ladder, and such series as Vietnam War Story, 24, and Covert Affairs. He also has directed episodes of several television series including ER, Chicago P.D., and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
