Eight Hundred Leagues Down the Amazon is the 1993 Peruvian-American adventure movie loosely based on the Jules Verne novel of the same name. Directed by Luis Llosa, the film follows an outlaw who braves the dangers of the Amazon river to attend his daughter's wedding.

Manoel (Tom Verica) briefly holds a Lefaucheux Model 1858 at one scene. Fragoso (E.E. Bell) briefly holds what appears to be a the same gun during the night incident.

Martini-Henry
Bounty hunter Roja (Adam Baldwin) carries Martini-Henry rifle as his duty firearm throughout the movie. At one scene, this rifle was briefly used by Minha (Daphne Zuniga).

1935 Peruvian Mauser
Nearly all Brazilian soldiers can be seen with anachronistic 1935 Peruvian Mauser rifles. In reality, the Brazilian army then used the M1870 Comblain.
