E-Ring was a military drama series that ran for one season in the US on NBC from 2005 to 2006. Executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the series followed the activities of the Special Operations Division of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, located in the outermost ring of the Pentagon, aka the "E-Ring".
The cast included Benjamin Bratt as Major (later Colonel) James Tisnewski and Dennis Hopper as Colonel Eli McNulty.

Brendan Scheffer (Christopher Gartin), a mercenary posing as a pilot, uses a Beretta Cougar to shoot a Venezuelan soldier in S01E16, "Fallen Angels".

A Nuevo Laredo cartel kingpin is armed with a chrome Browning Hi-Power in S01E22, "Acceptable Losses".
CZ-75B
General Steven Ndenke (Cy Ferguson), a Burundian warlord, is armed with a CZ-75B pistol in S01E04, "Tribes".
Glock 17
Glock 17 pistols are frequently used by main cast members, including Major James Tisnewski (Benjamin Bratt), Captain Bobby Wilkerson (Kerr Smith) and Sergeant Charlie Guitierrez (Maurice Compte). Angie Aronson (Kate Oldershaw) also uses a Glock 17 when she prepares to assassinate Colombian drug lord Alejandro Aguilar in S01E08, "Cemetery Wind (2)".
Glock 19
Glock 19 pistols are also often shown throughout the series in the hands of the main cast members. CIA agent John Haines (Matthew Glave) also carries a Glock 19 in S01E10, "The Forgotten", as does an MI6 agent in S01E12, "The Breath of Allah".

Bobby uses a suppressed Heckler & Koch Mark 23 to kill enemy commandos aboard a damaged North Korean submarine in S01E18, "Friends and Enemies".

A Heckler & Koch USP Tactical is used by a Special Forces soldier to shoot arms dealer Sergei Dima in S01E06, "Toy Soldiers". According to JT, the pistol is supposed to be a "SMN-6", a non-lethal tranquilizer gun.

Maya (Yasmine Delawari) uses a Kel-Tec PLR-16 Pistol with a mock suppressor and EOTech holographic weapon sight during a Special Forces operation in S01E21, "Isolation" and S01E22, "Acceptable Losses".

North Korean commandos aboard a damaged submarine are armed with Makarov PM pistols in S01E18, "Friends and Enemies".

A Burundian militiaman brandishes a Roth-Steyr M1907 pistol in S01E04, "Tribes".

An Uzi submachine gun is seen on a table during a police raid of an Amsterdam brothel in S01E13, "The Breath of Allah". In S01E21, "Isolation", an Uzi is also seen in the bloody aftermath of a gunfight on the Texas-Mexico border.

AKM rifles are used by Iraqi insurgents who capture JT during an ambush in S01E03, "Escape and Evade". After being taken across the border to Iran, JT seizes an AKM from his captors and uses it when fleeing from soldiers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Uzbekistani militants escorting terrorist Tariq Mahayni are armed with AKMS rifles in S01E02, "Snatch and Grab".
Norinco Type 56
Norinco Type 56 rifles are seen throughout the series in the hands of antagonists. An interesting modification is seen during S01E11, "Christmas Story", when a Taliban militant fires a Type 56 with a Romanian-style wooden foregrip.
Norinco Type 56-1
Several Taliban militants are armed with Norinco Type 56-1 rifles in S01E11, "Christmas Story". In S01E16 - "Fallen Angels", Charlie uses a Type 56-1 before being knocked out by a survivor of an aid plane crash who was in reality a mercenary. JT later retrieves the Type 56-1 and uses it to engage Venezuelan soldiers as the Americans escape.
AK-74M
One of the Serbian gunmen working for Petrovich (Ilia Volok) carries an AK-74M with a GP-30, drum magazine and a scope in S01E13, "War Crimes". The same weapon was also briefly seen being handed to an Afghan villager at the end of S01E11, "Christmas Story".
AKS-74U
In S01E13, "War Crimes", a Serbian gunman is armed with a AKS-74U carbine with a laser device and a scope. JT, Bobby and several other Special Forces soldiers also use AKS-74Us in S01E16, "Fallen Angels". Although used for reasons of plausible deniability, the choice seems strange since Venezuela does not use 5.45mm weapons.
