Cover Up (original title La crime) is a 1983 French detective movie directed by Philippe Labro. Police commissioner Martin Griffon (Claude Brasseur) invenstigates the assassination of attorney d'Alins. Griffon soon finds out that the murder is connected to the corruption in high spheres.

In one scene Rambert's henchman (Jacques Bondoux) fires a revolver that appears to be a Manurhin MR-73 with 4" barrel and fixed sights.

During the climactical shootout both Rambert's henchmen are armed with Mossberg 500 shotguns with wooden furniture and unusually colored pumps.

Trivia

Fake F1 Grenade

An F1 hand grenade is seen in Rambert's car. Rambert claims that the grenade is real and calls it "a memory about Algerian war" but Griffon takes it and crashes in hand, showing that it's a fragile plastic mockup.
