Cherry (2021)

Cherry is a 2021 American crime drama directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and based on the novel of the same name written by Nico Walker. The film stars Tom Holland as the title character, a young man who leaves school to join the military and subsequently due to his experiences fighting, becomes addicted to opioids. Upon his return home, he goes on a robbery spree in order to pay for his addiction. The cast includes Ciara Bravo, Jack Reynor, Michael Rispoli and Michael Gandolfini. Cherry was released to theaters on February 26, 2021, and premiered on Apple TV+ on March 12, 2021.
