Changeling

Changeling is a 2008 period drama directed by Clint Eastwood and was produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. Based on actual events, the film stars Angelina Jolie as Christine Collins, a woman who went to extraordinary lengths to find out what happened to her missing son and who helped expose corruption within the Los Angeles Police Department in the 1920's. The cast includes John Malkovich, Colm Feore, and Jeffrey Donovan. The film was nominated for three Academy Awards, including a Best Actress nomination for Jolie.

Smith & Wesson Model M&P revolver
When Rev. Gustav Briegleb (John Malkovich) talks to Christine (Angelina Jolie) about the LAPD's so-called "Gun Squad", some of the squad's members are seen opening fire on a line of men with Smith & Wesson M&P revolvers. LAPD detectives also appear to carry Smith & Wesson M&P revolvers when they accompany Det. Lester Ybarra (Michael Kelly) to the farm where children were possibly murdered.
M1928 Thompson
When Rev. Gustav Briegleb (John Malkovich) talks to Christine (Angelina Jolie) about the LAPD's so-called "Gun Squad", some of the squad's members are seen opening fire on men with M1928 Thompson submachine guns.
Winchester 1897 Field Shotgun
Gordon Northcott (Jason Butler Harner) fires what appears to be a Winchester Model 1897 pump shotgun when he discovers that some of the boys have escaped from his farm.
