M1928A1 Thompson
Martin Harvey (Martin Short) wanders off into the jungle and finds himself face to face with a band of Guerrillas, some of them armed with M1928A1 Thompsons.
MAC-11
Captain Ron (Kurt Russell) trades a MAC-11 from the Guerrillas in order to defend against "Pirates".
PPSh-41
A Couple Guerrillas are armed with Soviet PPSh-41s.
Uzi
A Guerrilla can be seen briefly with an Uzi when Martin Harvey first stumbles across the Guerrillas. An original wooden stock Uzi can be seen with the Guerrillas on the boat later.
MP40
A couple of Guerrillas can be seen briefly armed with MP40s.

M1 Carbine
A local tries to kill Captain Ron (Kurt Russell) with an M1 Carbine after taking his car.

Cut Down M16
A Guerrilla can be seen briefly with a M16 Assault Rifle that has been cut down from the bayonet lug forward.

Cuban Pirates ambush the family boat with their boat mounted with a Browning M2HB.
25 mm Mark 38
The Coast Guard vessel that rescues the Harvey family is armed with a 25 mm Mark 38 automatic gun, a navalized version of M242 Bushmaster.
Other Weapons
25mm Orion Flare Gun
Martin Harvey contemplates shooting Captain Ron with a 25mm Orion Flare Gun on the boat. Mrs. Harvey (Mary Kay Place) later fires at the Pirate boat with the same flare pistol.
