Almost Human is a 2013 science fiction television series executive-produced by J.J. Abrams. Set in 2048, the series follows LAPD detective John Kennex (Karl Urban), who has developed strong hatred for robots after losing his partner and being left for dead in an ambush by an LAPD combat android. Per the LAPD's requirements that all human officers are required to have a synthetic partner, Kennex is paired up with an older model android DRN, or Dorian (Michael Ealy), that is capable of human emotions and feelings. The series aired for 13 episodes until 2014.
The following weapons appear in the series Almost Human:
Reinhardt (Tim Kelleher) uses a dressed-up Taurus PT99 during the pilot episode (S01E01). This pistol is a modified "Timecop Beretta" (as the name suggests, the "Timecop Beretta" was originally built up for the 1994 sci-fi film Timecop.) The pistol has been modified slightly to have a more open-ended front than the ones seen in such previously Canadian-produced sci-fi series as Stargate: Atlantis and Sliders and this particular modification was previously the firing hero gun for the David Hasselhoff television movie Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Taurus PT92AF
Starting in "Skin" (S01E02), LAPD detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) carries as his sidearm a Taurus PT92AF dressed up in a futuristic shell. Although it is similar to the "Timecop Beretta", it is a new design. Urban liked the look of Reinhardt's pistol and asked for something similar. A cavity was built into the shell to accommodate a laser module. (The base pistol does not have an accessory rail.) The original grip panels were rosewood; Urban requested something darker, so dark walnut was used.
Zoraki 925
LAPD Detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) and android Dorian (Michael Ealy), and Detective Richard Paul (Michael Irby) carry slightly customized Zoraki 925s fitted with laser sights as their sidearms in the series, altough Kennex switches to the modified Taurus PT92AF in "Skin" (S01E02). The Zoraki is the primary firearm for the LAPD in the series, and is used by several officers in the series. LAPD Captain Alexio Barros (Benito Martinez) uses a Zoraki 925 in "The Bends" (S01E04). Det. Kennex also uses Barros' Zoraki after a scuffle in the same episode. It appears in the hands of hacker Emily Wilson in "Disrupt" (S01E11) after taking it from a downed Synturion android.
Some of Reinhardt's InSyndicate men use Calico M950 pistols during the pilot episode (S01E01).
Glock 17 in APS Carbine stock
Reinhardt (Tim Kelleher) and some of the InSyndicate thugs use a Glock 17 fitted into a carbine stock system during the pilot. On the surface it resembles a CAA Tactical RONI stock, however it is actually a modified APS Carbine stock which is a copy of the RON-G1 intended for Airsoft pistols. The weapon is also fitted with a small jar-like device on the forearm, and the weapon shoots plastic webs that can cover a person's face.
Vektor CP1
One of Reinhardt's InSyndicate henchmen uses a Vektor CP1 during the pilot episode (S01E01).
Beretta 92FS
Several LAPD officers use the Beretta 92FS as their main sidearm in the season. A Beretta 92FS is also seen on stairs inside a bank in "Are You Receiving?" (S01E03). Leonard Li (BC Lee) aims a 92FS at a hospital nurse at the beginning of "Arrhythmia" (S01E06).
An Albanian criminal uses a TiSAS Zigana Sport to kill a man in "Skin" (S01E02). The same pistol is also used by a reprogrammed service bot in "Unbound" (S01E09).
SIG-Sauer P228
An Albanian criminal briefly wields a SIG-Sauer P228 in "Skin" (S01E02). One of The Bishop's men uses a SIG-Sauer P228 in "The Bends" (S01E04).

STI GP6
A STI GP6 is stolen by a XRN prototype android named Danica (Gina Carano) at the start of "Unbound" (S01E06).
Airsoft KJW MP-05 Hi-Capa
In a continuity error the pistol carried by Danica (Gina Carano) in "Unbound" (S01E06) briefly changes to a KJW MP-05 Hi-Capa (an Airsoft M1911 replica) when she shoots a taxi driver. This was most likely done for safety reasons due to the short range at which the pistol is fired.
Beretta 93R
What appears to be a Beretta 93R is used by Gabe Dunbar (Shaun Smyth) when his hideout gets raided by the LAPD in "Straw Man" (S01E13). Note that since the show is produced in Vancouver, Canada, the 93R is made from a Beretta 92FS pistol before it is converted by an armorer in order to be fired in full auto mode.
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 610
Gavin Maxwell, aka The Bishop uses a dressed up Smith & Wesson Model 610 in "The Bends" (S01E04). The revolver was originally made for the film Blade: Trinity, and has appeared in other Vancouver based productions, such as Smallville and Eureka.
Submachine Guns
FN P90
LAPD MX combat androids and LAPD officers use FN P90 submachine guns fitted with extended threaded barrel suppressors, forward rail systems (RIS) with tactical laser-pointers and weapon lights, receiver top covers, and Magpul AFG grips throughout the series. The futuristic customizations seem to have been inspired by the Evike Terminator, a custom P90-based airsoft gun. LAPD Detective Richard Paul (Michael Irby) picks up and uses a P90 during a shootout in the pilot episode.
The P90s--real firing models with choked barrels to cycle blanks--were originally built up for Underworld: Awakening. The front section shells and grenade launchers were removed but the cosmetic covers over the magazines (marked "POLICE") remain, and other accessories were added.
Jian She Type-05
A couple of InSyndicate terrorists use Jian She Type-05 submachine guns in the pilot episode (S01E01). One is used briefly by Radovan (Andrei Kovski), an arms dealer, in a shootout near the end of "You Are Here" (S01E08).
"M1-L1 Triple-Pulse Rifle"
The Holy Reclamation Army terrorist named Gregor (Max Boateng) is armed with a highly modified Calico M955A in "Are You Receiving?" (S01E03). The prop is actually the "M1-L1 Triple-Pulse Rifle" originally made for Deep Rising, although now it is fitted with an EOTech sight.
Kimel AP-9
A picture of a satin nickel Kimel AP-9 is seen in an evidence photo in "Blood Brothers" (S01E05).
Beretta PM12S
A Beretta PM12S is used by Natalie (Tatyana Forrest), an arms dealer in a shootout near the end of "You Are Here" (S01E08).
Assault Rifles & Carbines
Norinco QBZ-97B
Several InSyndicate terrorists use Norinco QBZ-97B assault rifles with picatinny railings on the carry handle during the pilot episode (S01E01).
Heckler & Koch G36K
Several Holy Reclamation Army terrorists are armed with Heckler & Koch G36Ks with picatinny railings attached in "Are You Receiving?" (S1E03). One is used by Danica (Gina Carano) when she uses it to murder several VIPs in a fundraising party in order to assassinate her target near the end of "Unbound" (S1E09).
IWI Tavor CTAR-21
Several Holy Reclamation Army terrorists are armed with IWI Tavor CTAR-21s with flat tops on in "Are You Receiving?" (S01E03). Detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) also uses one near the end of the episode.
One of the clones of Ethan Avery uses an Olympic Arms K3BM4-FT as a short-range sniper rifle in "Blood Brothers" (S01E05).
Shotguns
UTAS UTS-15
Detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) uses a generation 2 UTAS UTS-15 shotgun with a laser sight in the beginning of the pilot episode. Some LAPD MX combat androids and LAPD officers use the UTAS UTS-15 as well in the series, being the main weapon.
Franchi SPAS-12
A gunman uses a SPAS-12 in "Blood Brother" (S01E06).
Hawk 97-2
