A Matter of Resistance is a 1966 French romantic comedy directed by Jean-Paul Rappeneau which received the Louis Delluc Prize in 1965. Lower Normandy, 1944: A French Resistance fighter gets stuck in a tree one morning with his parachute on the property of the chateau Jérôme lives in with his wife Marie and his mother. However, the property is also occupied by the Germans. In the utmost secrecy, but with full commitment, the three try to help prepare for the Allies' landing. Everything could have gone smoothly, if not for the German Major Klopstock and Julien having their eyes on the beautiful Marie.
