Members of the Norwegian Police Service stationed in Fortitude carry the Glock 17 as their sidearm. This includes Sheriff Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer ), Officer Eric Odegard (Björn Hlynur Haraldsson ), Officer Ingrid Witry (Mia Jexen ) and Officer Petra Bergen (Alexandra Moen ). DCI Eugene Morton (Stanley Tucci ) borrows a Glock from the police armoury before he visits Yuri Lubimov (Emil Hostina ) in the Russian mining town of Vukobejina.

The Remington 700 BDL serves as the choice of rifle for many Fortitude residents, and is standard issue for members of the Norwegian Police Service stationed there. Sheriff Anderssen (Richard Dormer ) briefly loans his to Yuri Lubimov (Emil Hostina ). Henry Tyson (Michael Gambon ), Ronnie Morgan (Johnny Harris ) and Carrie Morgan (Elisabeth Dormer-Phillips ) also carry the same model.

Remington 700 SPS
Jason Donnelly (Aaron McCusker ) is seen briefly handling a Remington 700 SPS (a modern variant of the Remington 700) before he is arrested by Sheriff Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer ). Several Fortitude residents are seen carrying the same model throughout the series, especially when tensions rise with the Russian mining town. Elena Ledesma (Verónica Echegui ) carries the same model for protection.
