Enfield L85A2

Must be airsoft as the british goverment is very reluctant to sell these into private hands plus any members of the british army and royal marines i know could not curse this weapon enough --Seekerdude (talk) 14:46, 26 July 2013 (EDT)

You do realize that the L85 has appeared in at least a dozen movies, and some of them are real? Children of Men, Dog Soldiers, Firefly, etc?--Mandolin (talk) 19:14, 26 July 2013 (EDT)

Unlikely for a short scene, I don't recall them firing or even appearing at all, someone should identify Slade's 1911's , alhough and I could be wrong here , but they could be star-b's --Iceman (talk) 08:37, 28 July 2013 (EDT)

It's possible that these L85s are airsoft, but I can tell you that the Canadian armory that supplies this show with its weapons (Felcan Enterprises in Vancouver) definitely has some real L85s. They appear in the Season 2 finale of Dark Angel, and actually fire blanks in that episode. I also know for a fact that Independent Studio Services in the United States has a handful of real L85s, though I believe that they are the only American armory which has them. -MT2008 (talk) 12:35, 28 July 2013 (EDT)

Well could be if they needed lots of unspecified guns and just threw in whatever was available, but that is hardly important, example person of interest uses airsoft pistols and you actually see an airsoft mag in one episode, I doubt its necessary to mention it here, theres still lots of stuff to identify. --Iceman (talk) 17:32, 28 July 2013 (EDT)

Others

Fyers obviously has a star, all the others seem like genuine 1911 of various makes. --Iceman (talk) 11:10, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

You know what type of Star pistol it is? Ominae (talk) 21:21, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

Probably a model B, but still should be separated since it clearly is not an actual 1911 --Iceman (talk) 06:54, 4 August 2013 (EDT)

CZ 75 P-07 Duty

Just me, or does it look like a SIG P226?--Crazycrankle (talk) 01:15, 14 August 2013 (EDT)

Because it probably is, judging by the what seem to be full lenght rear cocking serations and because it has none in front of the disassembly lever and because there is no reason a background extra would have such a specific gun when we know the armorer has dozens of sig's previously distributed to police extras --Iceman (talk) 04:59, 14 August 2013 (EDT)--Iceman (talk) 04:59, 14 August 2013 (EDT)

Mossberg Shotguns?

Anybody else think both of the shotguns currently listed as Mossberg variants aren't? The second one listed as a 590A1 is the easiest to disprove, as there is no safety visible on the receiver in either of the shots. From how rounded the back of the ejection port looks, my guess would be an 870. As for the one listed as a homeland defender, this turns up in season 2 where it can be seen that the barrel is way too short for a normal homeland defender. Also I can't see a mossberg safety, although it isn't particularly well seen. Based on the fact that both shotguns seem to have short barrels and XS Ghost Ring sights, I would guess that they may actually be built from the same gun, just that the first one is fitted with a muzzle brake and Surefire handguard. --commando552 (talk) 11:56, 18 October 2013 (EDT)

Agreed on the 590, but it's a bit dark to make out details on the homeland defender. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:12, 18 October 2013 (EDT)
