Talking about jacks pistol, may be a taser or air pistol but is most likely 3D printed. --Hobbit breath (talk) 00:42, 23 April 2013 (EDT)

More guns

Near the end of the film, there was also a dressed up machine gun used by Malcolm Beech (Morgan Freeman) and either Sgt. Sykes (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) or one of his soldiers, I don't remember. I'm betting it's a Browning M2, but I'm not sure. After all, it's been like almost two weeks since I saw the film, and it was pretty compelling plot-wise. Also, Sykes used a sniper rifle that was very... skeletony. Porbably a prop. --Warejaws (talk) 06:36, 23 April 2013 (EDT)

Left-handed

Anyone else notice that Tom Cruise was firing his rifle from his left shoulder, while keeping his pistol strapped to his right thigh. Any reason why he wouldn't fire his rifle from his better arm? --Mormonpowerranger521 1:17, 9 June 2013 MST

This was actually the second movie I saw this year where Cruise used his left side to shoot guns. The other movie was Jack Reacher. I think he might actually be ambidextrous but used to favor his left. I think an early movie he's in where he shot pool with his left hand in The Color of Money. Actually looking back, I think he used left hand in Vanilla Sky and well his character is forced to be left handed in Valkyrie because the character is missing the right hand. Actually if you watch Taps Cruise switches from left to right several times throughout the film while handling his M-16.--Charon68 (talk) 22:13, 30 July 2013 (EDT)
Cruise is ambidextrous, but usually handles rifles with his left (Taps, Jack Reacher) and handguns with his right (Mission: Impossible II, Collateral). --Ben41 (talk) 01:33, 31 July 2013 (EDT)

Skeleton rifles

I don't think these are MP5Ks, but rather full size MP5s. Firstly it looks like the front sight is too far forward relative to the magazine well. Secondly, in the first image you can see that it has an MP5A1 style receiver end cap, and this cannot be mounted on an MP5K as that lacks the rear extension on the receiver (on the MP5K the end cap is more of a metal plate that inserts into the receiver, as opposed to the MP5 end cap which is plastic and wraps around the receiver). --commando552 (talk) 06:13, 7 August 2013 (EDT)
