Blue Velvet
The following firearms were used in the 1986 thriller Blue Velvet:
Smith & Wesson Model 39
Frank Booth (Dennis Hopper) uses a suppressed Smith & Wesson Model 39 semi-automatic pistol in the final confrontation between him and Jeffrey Beaumont (Kyle MacLachlan). Booth racks the slide of the Smith & Wesson every time he fires it, probably due to the suppressor which does not leave enough gas to cycle the slide.
Smith & Wesson Model 624
While confronting Booth, Jeffery (Kyle MacLachlan) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 624 Snub commandeered from the lobotomized "Yellow Man" (Fred Pickler) .
Colt Official Police
Detective Williams' (George Dickerson) main sidearm is a Colt Official Police with a 5 inch barrel.
Remington 870
A Remington 870 shotgun is briefly seen in the assault on Booth's apartment.
Federal L-5 Gas Gun
A Federal L-5 Gas Gun is seen briefly being fired at Frank Booth's apartment.
