Rahavard Farahani (Born 10 July 1983), known professionally as Golshifteh Farahani, is an Iranian-French actress. In 2008 she co-starred with Leonardo Dicaprio in Body of Lies. The Iranian government considered appearing in the movie to be an act of collaboration with American propaganda. She was also considered to have violated Islamic law by appearing in the movie without hijab. She has not been allowed to return to Iran since 2009. She now lives in France.
