Fargo (1996)
The following guns were used in the movie Fargo:
Smith & Wesson 5906
Gaear Grimsrud (Peter Stormare) and Carl Showalter (Steve Buscemi) use a Smith & Wesson 5906 in any scenes that don't require the gun to be firing. When they fire, it turns into a SIG "Non-Gun".
- Wow Look at those photos closely, it sure looks like the slide of a Sig the ENTIRE TIME to me. IT is the SIG listed below the whole time. It is never a 5906.
- I agree. Look at the sights in the first shot. They do not match the sights of a 5906, but they do match the sights of the SIG. -Gunman69 23:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
SIG-Sauer P220 "Non-Gun"
A "Non-Gun" resembling a SIG-Sauer P220 is used by Gaear Grimsrud (Peter Stormare) and Carl Showalter (Steve Buscemi) when they have to shoot it.
Smith & Wesson Model 28
Wade Gustafson (Harve Presnell) takes a Smith & Wesson Model 28 to the confrontation with Carl.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Brainerd chief of police Marge Gunderson (Frances McDormand) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 36 in a shoulder holster modified to accomodate her pregnancy. (How appropriate for the police chief to carry a S&W Chief's Special lol)
Colt Police Positive
The policemen who arrest Jerry Lundegaard in the finale have Colt Police Positive revolvers.
