Browning BDA
The Browning BDA (marketed in Europe as FN HP-DA) is a single/double-action pistol based on the Browning Hi-Power. It was introduced in the early-1980s to compete in the U.S. XM9 pistol trials, though lost out to the Beretta 92F.
Not to be confused with the similarly-named Browning BDA 380, or the more recent Browning BDM

Umarex GPDA (Browning BDA replica)
Umarex (of Germany) makes a common blank fire only version of the BDA in several versions, known as the GPDA9 and the GPDA8. The GPDA9 is a theatrical blank firing gun that fires the proprietary 9mm PAK blank ammunition. The GPDA8 fires the 8mm theatrical blank ammunition and is readily available in the U.S. The vast majority of 9mm PAK blank firing pistols are only available in Europe.
BDA blank replicas can easily be separated from early model BDAs by looking at decocker. Authentic early production BDA decocker has a noticable screw on it while replica ones often don't.
