The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon EmperorThe Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - Internet Movie Firearms Database - Guns in Movies, TV and Video GamesThe Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Evie (Maria Bello) briefly uses a Colt Detective Special snub nose revolver that Rick kicks to her to fire at the newly awakened Emperor in the Shanghai Museum.
Colt 1873 Single Action Army "Peacemaker"
Rick early on uses a Colt 1873 Single Action Army "Peacemaker" as an effective method to catch fish after getting frustrated while learning to fly fish back in England. He later shows this revolver to Alex when the two of them are comparing weapon choices. He also uses it to fire a few shots on the Emperor.
FN Hi-Power
Evelyn O'Connell (Maria Bello) can be seen using a pair of FN Hi-Power pistols in the film. Alex also uses a couple in the film, as well as Roger Wilson (David Calder) who uses it to threaten the O'Connells and shoot at the assassin in the Emperor's Tomb in an early scene. Alex also keeps a pair in his weapons trunk next to his Walther P38s.
Colt M1911
Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) carries M1911 pistols in the film and uses them on a few occasions, specifically in the Himalayas gunbattle and on the Emperor's Terra Cotta warriors during the undead battle near the end. M1911 Pistols can be seen in the hands of various other characters throughout the film.
Norinco Type 54
General Yang (Anthony Wong) uses a Norinco Type 54 pistol as his weapon throughout the film. This is an anachronism because the Chinese did not start manufacturing the Type 54 until the 1950s as the film is set in 1946. It is quite possible that the the Type 54 pistol was standing in for the Russian-made Tokarev TT-33 pistol.
Smith & Wesson Military & Police
Rick carries a pair of these Smith & Wesson Military & Polices early in the film and brandishes them when the Emperor is awakened, firing multiple shots at him and then using them briefly on the streets of Shanghai before losing them.
Alex briefly pulls the Walther P38 from his gun chest and shows the firearm to Rick as the father and son compare weapon choices.
Webley Mk. VI
The Webley Mk VI revolver can be seen briefly in the hands of Jonathan in the Himalayas gunfight scene but he never fires it.
Submachine Guns
PPS-43
Alex O'Connell (Luke Ford) arms himself with the PPS-43 sub-machine gun during the battle with Yang's soldiers in the Himalayas. Alex referred to it as a "personal assault weapon".
PPSh-41
Alex (Luke Ford) passes a PPSh-41 off to Rick (Brendan Fraser) near the end of the battle shortly before they go after the Emperor. Alex can also be seen firing it off the back of the motorcycle at General Yang's soldiers while Rick drives.
Sten Mk II
The 9mm Sten Mk II submachine gun can be seen in the hands of Rick during the undead battle near the end of the film.
Thompson M1928
Rick (Brendan Fraser) can be seen using the M1928 Thompson in the Himalayas in a gunfight with General Yang's soldiers. The script has him say that the box magazines have 25 rounds, despite there are only 20 and 30 round box magazines. He was correct with his 50 round drum. It jammed on him in the middle of the fight, which pissed Rick off that his son, Alex, was correct. We never see him reload to the box magazine, but from watching, he spent the 50 round drum too fast.
Due to continuity errors, the drum magazine changed into a 30 round box magazine very briefly after Yang's men hit the palace with bazookas.
Rifles
Arisaka Type 99
The majority of General Yang's soldiers are seen armed with Arisaka Type 99 bolt-action rifles. The Arisaka series of rifles were very common in post-WWII China and were used by Nationalist, Communist and Warlord forces during the Chinese Civil War in the mid/late 1940s.
Remington Model 81 Woodmaster
The Remington Model 81 Woodmaster, fitted with a scope and silencer in disassembled condition, can be seen in the weapon box of Alex O'Connell.
SKS
Several SKS semi-automatic rifles can be seen in the hands of General Yang's men throughout the film. The SKS rifles used by General Yang's troops appear to be Russian SKS rifles with the "sword" bayonet. The use of the Russian SKS carbine by General Yang's troops is an anachronism because the Soviets didn't export SKS rifles to their allies (or anybody else) overseas in 1946 and all the SKS rifles produced in the USSR were made only for the Soviet military at this period of time.
These bolt-action rifles also known as the "Chiang Kai-shek Rifle" and "Type 24" is carried and used by General Yang's soldiers throughout the film. The Type Zhongzheng rifle is a licensed, Chinese copy of the Mauser Standard Model rifle, the forerunner to the Mauser Karabiner 98k rifle, and was used extensively by both Nationalist and Communist forces during the Chinese Civil War in the 1940s.
Shotguns
Winchester Model 1912
Rick can be seen using the sawed off pistol gripped Winchester Model 1912 in the third Mummy film after taking it off the dead body of one of General Yang's soldiers in the gunfight in the Himalayas, Rick uses it to shoot a few of the soldiers and to fire at the Emperor to no avail.
Winchester Model 1897
The Winchester Model 1897 shotgun can be seen in the weapon box of Rick O'Connell but he never fires it.
Winchester Model 1887
The Winchester Model 1887 shotgun can be seen in the weapon box of Rick O'Connell but he never fires it. This is presumably the same one he used in The Mummy Returns.
Sawed-Off Shotgun
Two sawed-off shotguns can bee seen in weapon box of Rick O'Connell.
The Browning M1919A4 can be seen in the back of General Yang's vehicle being fired by his lieutenant, Choi (Jessey Meng) at Rick and Alex as they escape on a motorcycle.
Other
M9 Bazooka
General Yang's men can be seen firing M9 Bazookas in the film.
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) can be seen throwing at least one Mk 2 hand grenade during the battle scene, grenades are also used by Alex (Luke Ford) and possibly some of General Yang's soldiers.
O'Connell's Arsenal
Both Alex and Rick have a box with weapons. In all it consists of:
