Taken by Jim Halsey (Zachary Knighton) from a sheriff when he was about to draw it from his holster. And Jim uses it in a few scenes in the film.

Police Officers are armed with Glock 17s aiming them at Grace Andrews (Sophia Bush) demanding she drops her weapon when she's in the 18 wheeler threatening to kill John Ryder (Sean Bean) if he doesn't let go of Jim (Zachary Knighton) who is tied up between the truck and the carriage.
