Punisher: War Zone
From Internet Movie Firearms Database - Guns in Movies, TV and Video Games
Revision as of 18:29, 7 July 2010 by Rockwolf66(talk | contribs)(→.475 Widley Magnum: The silvier handgun the gunrunner shows Carlos is not a Wildey but a ruger .22 handgun with a bull barrel.)
Frank Castle uses twin stainless Berettas with extended mags and converted to full-auto in the movie.
Beretta M92SB
In the hands of Jigsaw's thug Pittsy and taken by Agent Budianski (Colin Salmon).
Fitted with what appear to be pearl grips.
Beretta 9000
Colt 1911A1 GI
Seen in the beginning disassembled and cleaned by Frank, but never used. Obvious reference to Franks' preference for them in in the comics.
Glock 17
Officer Safiotti holds Frank up with a 3rd-Gen Glock 17 near the beginning of the film. Agent Budianski (Colin Salmon) does the same later.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact Tactical
Frank's backup weapon for the first part of the film. Has a Spurred hammer.
Makarov PM
Ruger KP94
SIG Sauer P232
Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum Revolver
Frank Castle keeps a performance center version of the Smith & Wesson Model 500 as one of his sidearms. He has this stainless version with extended ejector shroud and also one with a supressed black barrel and a Knight's Armament RIS setup, flashlight, and laser. A bunch of one of the gangs were given to them, some standard and some with scopes.
Used in the first gunfight scene. They are seen with satin nickel receivers and they have their fore grips removed, making them "machine pistols".
H&K MP5A2
H&K MP5A3
H&K MP5SD

Beretta Cx4 Storm
AKS-74U
M4-type weapon
During the final assault, Frank (Ray Stevenson) takes a custom M4A1-type carbine with KAC Quad-rails, a C-More red dot optic, an M4-2000 by Advanced Armament Corp suppressor, and a short version of the AG36 grenade launcher, which is really an Airsoft prop. It is referred to by the Armorer behind the scene as an M4 with a short barrel. It appears to be a short-stroke piston upper of some type, but IMFDB has been unable to identify the specific make/model. (It is NOT a Heckler & Koch HK416 as some have speculated.)
Heckler & Koch G3A3
H&K G36C
Heckler & Koch G36K
Heckler & Koch SL8
Frank Castle uses the SL8 to snipe one of the members of the urban freeflow gang, then shoots the leader once in each kneecap.
When Jigsaw goes to terrorize the fallen officer's family, Ink carries a Franchi PA3 shotgun. Castle kills Ink and takes the shotgun. He later uses it to shoot Pittsy in the head.
Other
H&K AG36 Grenade Launcher
Frank apparently shortens a Heckler & Koch AG36 Grenade Launcher to make it lighter and perhaps handier in close quarters. Prop wise, this is an airsoft product called the AGX made by Madbull (a grenade launcher that can be mounted on any picatinny rail equipped rifle). They have been making reference to its use in the film for some time now.
He uses it towards the end of the movie, shooting some kind of air burst grenade (it explodes in mid-air).
M203 Grenade Launcher
Frank is seen using this, but it was a stand alone, and apparently the effects guys made it looked like he fired a missile out of it. It was used once before Frank switched to the SL8.
M4X Knife
This is a custom piece dubbed the M4X made by Daniel M. Certo for the film. -- ZG
