The following guns were seen in the movie:
Heckler & Koch HK45
Eli (Denzel Washington) carries a weathered Heckler & Koch HK45 pistol. Even though the pistol had just been out a year when the film was made, the filmmakers wanted it to look like a antique vintage firearm (as this film take place in the future). The brand new HK45 was sanded and worn down to look very old for the film.
Remington 870 "Witness Protection" Short Shotgun
Eli (Denzel Washington) carries a short barreled Remington 870 "Witness Protection" shotgun, with various weathering and a heavily taped handle.
Browning Hi-Power
- Carnegie (Gary Oldman) uses and carries a Browning Hi-Power throughout the film.
Beretta 92FS Two Tone
- One of Carnegie's thugs aims his two toned Beretta 92FS pistol at Eli - 9mm.
Type 69 RPG
- Redridge (Ray Stevenson) attacks a house with a Chinese Type 69 RPG.
MK II Hand grenade
Solara (Mila Kunis) spies a Mk 2 hand grenade and throws it to destroy a pursuing car.
Unknown Pump-Action Shotgun
- Could be either a Remington 870 with extended tube or a Benelli M3 with extended tube (hard to tell from the trailer).
AK-47 (Norinco Type 56?)
- One of Carnegie's thugs carries an AK-47 (exact variant unknown at this time). It may be a Norinco Type 56, but this is uncertain.
FN FAL
- Redridge (Ray Stevenson) carries an FN FAL - para barrel but full stock.
Unknown bolt action rifles
Carnegie's thugs spread out to find and kill Eli. They carry some bolt action rifles of unknown make and model.
