O Brother, Where Art Thou?
The following firearms were used in the 2000 film O Brother, Where Art Thou?:
Browning Auto-5
Browning Auto-5s are seen carried by the prison guards and some of the deputies.
double barreled shotguns
Prison guards also carry side-by-side double-barreled shotguns.
Remington 870
Sheriff Cooley (Daniel von Bargen) carries a Remington 870, which is anachronistic for 1937.
This is not Sheriff Cooley. This guy is not wearing the sunglasses that Cooley wears and when this guy speaks it's not the same voice of Cooley.
Thompson M1928
Several of the posse chasing the gang carries Thompson M1928 submachine guns. George "Baby Face" Nelson (Michael Badalucco) also carries a Thompson, refering to it as his "Choppa" and using it to fire on police and cattle.
- "Not the live-stock, George..." I love this movie. :) - Gunmaster45
Unknown bolt-action rifle
Seen in the hands of a youg boy on a farm. The bolt-action rifle is possibly either a Springfield 1903 or a Krag-Jørgensen.
