Talk:Eight Hundred Leagues Down the Amazon
The Colt 1862 and Winchester IDs seem questionable. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:29, 26 January 2016 (EST)
- Maybe, I'm wrong, but methinks, that I saw this revolver at the one book of the firearms, but, I can't find it now. Pyramid Silent (talk) 11:46, 26 January 2016 (EST)
- Rifles, identified as Gewehr 1871/84, are much more modern Mausers. Judging by the lenght of the rifle, the shape of fore-end and the position of the sling swivel, also the place of filming, I assume that it can be Peruvian Mausers M1935. The revolver, identified as Colt 1862 Navy, is a different gun as it has close-top frame. I have no guess what it is but not a Colt Navy. Greg-Z (talk) 11:48, 26 January 2016 (EST)
- Another guess: maybe, it's S & W Model 10, mocked up as old revolver? Pyramid Silent (talk) 12:39, 26 January 2016 (EST)
