The Outer Limits (1995)
Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons appeared in the 1995 update of the TV series The Outer Limits:
Glock 17
The Glock 17 was quite possibly the most commonly-seen gun in the show, used often by police officers and other characters.
Taurus PT92
The Taurus PT92 was used in many episodes, often as a Beretta 92F stand-in during the early seasons.
Smith & Wesson 5904
A Smith & Wesson 5904 was the weapon used by Dr. Theresa Givens (Amanda Plummer) to kill various murderers during her time travels in Episode 2.1, "A Stitch in Time".
Trivia: Several characters in this episode refer to the S&W used by Dr. Givens as "Mr. 9mm". This is most likely a reference to the fact that Amanda Plummer, who plays Dr. Givens, had previously starred in Pulp Fiction, in which Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) also referred to his Star Model B as "Mr. 9mm".
SIG-Sauer P226
SIG-Sauer P226s were used in several episodes, most notably in Episode 2.1, "A Stitch in Time" by FBI Agents Jamie Pratt (Michelle Forbes) and Corey Lonn (Andrew Airlie).
Desert Eagle Mark I
A Desert Eagle Mark I with a laser sight was used by the militia commander in Episode 2.14, "The Heist." It also appears that Desert Eagles were sometimes used to build sci-fi pistols in various episodes set in the future.
Browning Hi-Power
In Episode 4.16, "Final Exam", a Browning Hi-Power was used by Seth (Peter Stebbings) to hold a university class hostage.
Vektor CP1
In Episode 7.22, "Human Trials" a Vektor CP1 pistol is used first by Doctor Baker (Glynis Davies) and the taken from her and used by Captain Kelvin Parkhurst (Jason Gedrick).
Modified Taurus PT99AF aka "The Timecop Beretta"
In Episode 7.22, "Human Trials", Captain Kelvin Parkhurst (Jason Gedrick) uses a 'Timecop Beretta' to check out the abandoned base.
Sa. Vz.61 Skorpion
A modified Sa. Vz.61 Skorpion pistol with sci-fi style top rail and no magazine, impersonates a futuristic weapon, wielded by Colonel Sage (Kim Coates) in In Episode 7.22, "Human Trials"
MGC M16 replica
The show featured many MGC M16 replica assault rifles in the hands of military personnel, most with M16A1 flash hiders.
M16A1
M16A1 assault rifles (some fitted with M16A2 round handguards) appeared in many episodes. In Episode 4.18, "Monster", M16A1s with tactical flashlights were used by most of the the special forces soldiers.
Diemaco C7/Olympic Arms K4B
Many of the firing M16 rifles on the show were Diemaco C7s, or, rather, the Olympic Arms K4B equivalent, which is used regularly by armorers in British Columbia.
Colt AR-15A2 Target Custom
In Episode 4.7, "Josh", an Air Force security officer used an older-model long-barrel Colt AR-15A2 fitted with a free-floating hand guard, bipod, and scope, and loaded with an orange-painted magazine of "uranium-tipped" bullets. It is recognizable as an AR-15A2 due to the "slab-side" lower receiver. There was also a good close-up of the lower receiver showing Colt markings. This rifle has also appeared in other movies and TV shows filmed in British Columbia, including Dreamcatcher (where it was carried by Morgan Freeman), as well as The X-Files and The Sentinel
Colt Model 933/Olympic Arms K3B
In Episode 4.18, "Monster", a special forces soldier was seen using what appears to be a Colt Model 933 with the carry handle removed and some type of scope installed. The weapon had a Phantom flash hider and older-style Weaver Rail Integration System on top of the receiver (prior to Picatinny rails), so it is most likely a 10" Olympic Arms K3B, given Canadian armorers' apparent preference for OA rifles.
Franchi PA3/215
A Franchi PA3/215 was used by one of the special forces soldiers in Episode 4.18, "Monster". It's not seen very clearly at any point in the episode.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
There were many Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns used on the show, though the non-firing versions were mostly airsoft replicas. These weapons were also regularly used to build sci-fi weapons for episodes taking place in the future.
(Mock-up) Heckler & Koch MP5K
In several episodes, it was possible to see soldiers and other characters using machine pistols that appear to be Heckler & Koch MP5Ks, but appear to be angular and have incorrect dimensions. These guns were seen most notably in Episode 2.14, "The Heist." These are mock-ups of the MP5K built on what appear to be Kimel AP-9 assault pistols; these guns also appeared in other movies and TV shows filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia during the 1990s, such as The X-Files and M.A.N.T.I.S..
Savage 10/110
A Savage 10/110 was used by a sniper in Episode 4.16, "Final Exam".
