Olympus Has Fallen is a 2013 action film about a disgraced Secret Service agent (Gerard Butler) who must rescue the President (Aaron Eckhart) when the White House is seized by North Korean terrorists. Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Shooter) the film is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2013, ahead of the similarly-themed White House Down starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.

The following weapons were used in the film Olympus Has Fallen:

Handguns

SIG-Sauer P229

Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) and other Secret Service agents use current-production SIG-Sauer P229 pistols as their sidearms. Kang (Rick Yune), leader of the North Korean terrorists, is also seen wielding a P229.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

The North Korean terrorists appear to be largely armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns with Surefire Weapon Lights and ACOG scopes. Banning also uses the MP5A3, presumably after disarming some of the terrorists.
