I remember a suppressed H&K P9 or P9S being used in Athens. Can anyone confirm or deny this? -MT2008 14:16, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

CZ 82

Carl is using a CZ 82 in this scene.

Looks like a Makarov to me. The trigger guard and sights don’t look like a CZ-82. --Mauser 15:50, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Beretta .22s

Though, admittedly, I have never seen this movie, it's one of those ones I keep meaning to, I do remember reading the book "Vengeance" by George Jonas sometime in the 1980s which along with the movie "The Sword of Gideon" basically tells the same story of the revenge squads hunting down the PLO in Europe post '72. In the book there is a specific section where, upon his recruitment into the Mossad, Avner is given his choice of firepower and immediately goes for some hand cannon (a .44 I think). The instructor chides him, takes the cannon and hands him a .22 pistol which, though never clearly identified, would probably have been the Beretta Model 71 threaded for a suppressor, and teaches him the art of the double tap. Throughout the book, and with a few exceptions (notably the bicycle pump guns and the Uzis) the team uses .22s as their main sidearms and not 9mms. --Charon68 21:09, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

I remember seeing "The Sword of Gideon" on HBO back in the 80s, and as I recall they used Beretta 71's. -- David.
